Performing the Upgrade

This step performs the migration of Active Directory to the new replacement Domain Controller (DC).

• Check the replication of AD
• Back up the DCs to allow rollback
• Copy the DNS settings and zones to the new DC
• Copy the NTP settings to the new DC
• Move the FSMO Roles roles to the new DC
• Perform any post-upgrade steps
