Setting a Restore Point

After you turn on System Protection you can set a restore point. Click or tap on the tab Protect (top), then click or tap on the button Set Restore Point.

You will be prompted to enter a text description of the restore point. The date and time will be added to your description automatically.

Setting a restore point is slower than creating a volume snapshot. The operation might take up to a minute to complete.
