Warning: The DC Was Improperly Renamed

The domain controller's computer name is inconsistent between its actual name and what Active Directory reports.

This can happen if Active Directory was authoritatively restored and rolled back on another DC to a point in time when the local DC had a different computer name.

You need to correct the problem before you can migrate Active Directory to the new DC. Otherwise there will be confusion on the network regarding the DC's actual identity.

Overriding the Warning Message

You should never override this warning message. The only exception is when you are in an emergency situation where you are trying to recover AD.
