Requirements

U-Recover supports the following Windows operating systems:

  • Windows 11
  • Windows 10
  • Windows 8.1
  • Windows Server 2012-2022*

*System Protection is not supported in Windows Server.

Languages

U-Recover is compatible with all language editions of the operating systems shown above. This includes CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) languages. U-Recover displays text in English.

Proprietary Snapshot Providers

U-Recover does not support custom or proprietary (non-Microsoft) volume snapshot storage providers (for example, ShadowProtect).
