Install SharePoint Server
After you have installed all of the prerequisite software, you are ready to install SharePoint Server.
Use the same version of SharePoint
To move SharePoint, both the source computer and the destination computer must have the same version and service pack of SharePoint. (U-Move will warn you if they are not compatible.)
Install SharePoint Server
Install SharePoint Server using the SharePoint installation DVD/CD disk.
Setup will prompt you to enter the path for the installation folder and for the search folder. When prompted enter the same paths that were used to install SharePoint on the original computer. (If the paths do not match U-Move will warn you.)
SQL Server: If you need to install SQL Server do so now. Install the same version of SQL Server with same service pack, same installation path, and same instance name that was used on the original computer. (If the information does not match U-Move will warn you.)
SharePoint 2013 and 2010: When prompted during installation run the SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard to set up the initial (empty) SharePoint database. (U-Move will later overwrite the empty database with a copy of the real database from the source computer.) If your SharePoint site is using a remote database server located on another computer, enter that information instead.
