Install SBS

Boot the Small Business Server DVD. This will install Windows Server on the computer.

Install with a dummy computer name and a dummy domain name

When you install Windows Server, use a dummy computer name and domain name (example: mydummybox.mylocal). This is important to avoid having two computers serving the same Active Directory domain name at the same time. U-Move will refuse to continue if it detects another computer on the same network with the same name.

U-Move will later copy the real computer name and the real domain name when it moves Active Directory.

Other Applications

Small Business Server 2008: Uncheck the boxes to install ForeFront Security Server or OneCare Live. You can install these applications later, after you move AD.
