U-Tools Software LLC is pleased to announce the release of U-Move Version 2.2 for Windows Server.

U-Move 2.2 adds support for Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS). AD FS provides single sign-on (SSO) access to applications that span organizational boundaries. It is typically used to access an extranet website that is hosted by a partner organization. With U-Move version 2.2 you can back up, restore, and clone an AD FS database alongside the main Active Directory database.

U-Move 2.2 also adds support for recovering Active Directory from a Windows Server Backup image that is in .VHDX format. The .VHDX format supports hard disks that are larger than 2TB.

Several bugfixes are also included. Version 2.2 is a free upgrade for all customers who have a current U-Move technical support license.
