U-Tools Software LLC is pleased to announce the release of U-Move Version 2.6 for Microsoft Active Directory.

U-Move 2.6 adds awareness of the new virtualization and security features in Windows Server 2016.

• Code Integrity Policy
• Hyper-V Containers

Version 2.6 also improves robustness and adds additional documentation for previous versions of Windows Server (2012, 2008, 2003). All customers are encouraged to upgrade to this version.

Note: In some AD recovery scenarios U-Move will prompt you to temporarily reduce the BIOS UEFI security level before U-Move can recover AD (for example to reset the TPM and/or reset Credential Guard). You can raise the BIOS security level after you load AD.

Hyper-V Containers: Containers have no UI, so you will need to start a second copy of U-Move on the host and connect it to the container. This feature should be considered experimental and should not be used in a production environment. Microsoft does not support running an instance of Active Directory Domain Services inside a Hyper-V Container.
